it’s a language.
You can’t notice what you don’t have words for. And you can’t feel awe if you can’t feel you. Most people don’t “lack awareness,” they just never learned the words for their own inner world.
Awareness means giving words to your sadness, your fear, and your shame, so those emotions can finally be seen instead of running your life from the shadows through avoidance, narcissism, and people pleasing.
When you name an experience, you finally see it. And when you can see yourself clearly, your emotional world becomes open enough to feel awe, that quiet shock of “I’m part of something infinite.”
Awareness teaches you to notice your emotions. Awe teaches you to notice the Creator. And the deeper your awareness becomes, the deeper your awe can become.
That’s how a relationship begins.
