Awe is not just one feeling.

Awe is a blend of:

1. sadness (because something matters, you notice the distance)

2. fear (because it is bigger than you)

3 wonder (because it is beautiful and meaningful)

When you feel awe, you stop pretending you already know everything.

That’s when your questions change.

Instead of asking:

1. “How do I control this?”

2. “How do I avoid feeling this?”

3. “How does I win?”

4. “How do I prove I’m right?”

You start asking:

1. “What is this showing me?”

2. “What am I meant to learn?”

3. “How can I grow closer?”

4. “What don’t I understand yet?”

The deeper the awe you feel, the better your questions become.

And after awe, something new can appear:

Joy

Joy comes when:

1. Fear, mixed with trust, means something is bigger than you, but safe to approach.

2. Sadness is noticing the distance between you and the Creator.

3. wonder turns into connection

Joy isn’t shallow happiness.

It’s the calm joy of understanding and relationship. Without joy, there is no deep pleasure in life, only distraction and relief.
