Why big moments of awe fade so fast.

You see a sunset, hear a song or feel really loved … and a few minutes later, it’s gone.

That’s because some experiences stay outside you. They surround you, but they don’t sink in. The trick is to let them move inside you. Not just “wow, that was cool,” but “this means something to me.”

Here’s how:

1. Pause for 5 seconds when you notice something beautiful.

2. Say: “Thank You, G-d, for this gift.”

3. Pick one detail to carry with you, like the color of the sky, the lyric, idea, or the feeling of being cared for.

4. If you want the feeling to last longer, sing or hum a (Nigun) melody.

Music helps awe stay alive in the heart/body. Do this often, and awe won’t just be a passing high. It becomes part of you. Like this post to to stay-up-to-date with my latest content.
