He expressed Himself through 10 energies (Sefirot).
To allow independent existence, He gave anonymously, without revealing that the light was His. Because of this hiddenness, each energy developed a sense of “self.”
They thought: “This is my light.” But that ego was too heavy. The vessels couldn’t hold it. They shattered.
Our world was built from those fallen sparks. Some pure. Some heavy with ego.
Malchus = leadership (1 of the 10).
When it falls, leadership turns into abuse. Abusers are just passing along fallen sparks they don’t know how to raise.
Victims can help heal sparks through:
Awareness – noticing the pattern,
Self-compassion, ‘my pain matters’
Boundaries – refusing to let abuse continue.
And yes, eventually forgiveness. Even someone stuck in abusive thinking can raise their own sparks, when they stop hiding, face reality, and choose compassion (I’m trying my best), boundaries and truth.
Every spark we lift makes us a vessel for the light that once shattered creation. Abuse comes from unhealed sparks.
Healing is about raising them, through compassion, truth, and boundaries, until leadership becomes what it was always meant to be:
A channel for G-d’s light (goodness and kindness).
