Only the part of you that feels separate can crown G-d as King.
If there were no distance, there’d be no choice, only oneness.
That’s why shame exists. It creates the experience of separation. And from that place the revelation of Malchus, Divine kingship, can happen.
What’s really going on:
G-d desires to express Himself through kingship.
And it’s your very shame, your sense of distance, that allows His kingship to shine greater than ever. Because when something so distant chooses Him as King, it reveals how real His unconditional love is.
The very part of you that feels most unworthy is the one that lets you say, “G-d, You are my King.”
