Some try to control through aggression or people pleasing. Some try to be perfect. That doesn’t stop redemption.
Those parts were trying to help when life didn’t feel safe.
What does slow redemption is when we think:
“I need to fix myself first.”
“I need to be better before I belong.”
“I need to earn relationship.”
But real relationship doesn’t start after perfection.
It starts with honesty.
It starts when we let the Creator meet us right where we are.
Not when our personality is polished, but when we are emotionally available with The Creator.
Redemption comes when relationship is allowed to come first.
