Me too.
I used to think:
“If G-d is so loving, why doesn’t He just show Himself clearly?”
Here’s a surprising truth:
Kings don’t rule their own children—they nurture them. To truly reign, a king needs subjects who feel separate. G-d’s the same way. He intentionally hides to let us feel independent. Not because He doesn’t care—but precisely because He loves us deeply and desires a relationship.
Feeling overwhelmed or disconnected?
That’s actually part of the design. Your struggle with boundaries or expressing your truth isn’t a flaw. It’s an invitation. G-d wants you to uncover Him right here in this messy, complicated world.
Two easy ways to start:
1. When you’re struggling, pause and remind yourself:
“My challenges are opportunities to reveal G-d right here.”
2. When setting a boundary, remind yourself:
“Boundaries help clarify connection—not break it.”
G-d’s hiddenness isn’t rejection—it’s trust.
He trusts you to find and reveal Him. You’re not disconnected. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
