Sometimes connecting with G-d felt impossible for me.

I’d try so hard, hoping to feel something special, but instead, I’d end up frustrated.

It felt like trying to talk to someone at a noisy party, you’re speaking clearly, but they’re just not hearing you.

Have you ever felt that kind of frustration?

Then one day I realized something huge:

Humility isn’t about putting yourself down. It’s simply noticing how incredibly great G-d is compared to us.

Think about staring at the ocean:

It’s endless, powerful, amazing— and you instantly know how small yet valuable you are. That’s humility.

Here’s an easy way to practice this:

Next time you feel disconnected, stop and remind yourself:

It’s completely normal to feel like you’re not enough. How could anyone ever match infinite perfection?

Recognizing this doesn’t make you less—it makes you honest.

And being honest lets you feel connected, never alone.

And that real connection is exactly what G-d wants from you.
