Spiritual burnout isn’t about being lazy.

It’s feeling spiritually exhausted from always trying to be ‘good enough.’

Does this sound familiar? You’re constantly overwhelmed by the pressure to please everyone. Including G-d.

Here’s why:

1. Fawn Response (people pleasing):

You think you need to be perfect for G-d to care.

This leaves you drained, always chasing approval.

2. Fight Response: Deep down, you feel G-d abandoned you.

You’re defensive and angry, feeling spiritually isolated.

3. Flight Response:

You’re always running to distractions.

It feels like you’re hiding from G-d and from yourself.

4. Freeze Response:

You’re stuck, numb, and believe nothing matters.

It’s like spiritual paralysis.

But here’s the truth:

G-d never asked you to be perfect. He asked you to be yourself, exactly as you are right now.

Try this instead:

1. Pause & Notice:

When feeling overwhelmed, pause.

Notice your feelings/beliefs gently, without judgment.

2. Speak Your Truth Calmly:

Clearly and kindly state what you need.

Trust that healthy compassionate boundaries actually deepen connections.

Remember:

“G-d isn’t waiting for your perfection; He’s waiting for your honesty.”

What happens when you let go of perfection and begin being real?
