It reacts fast.
That’s why a relationship with the Creator is a choice.
Because the first thing you feel might be:
1. fear
2. anger
3. doubt
4. shutting down emotionally
5. needing control
But then you get a second moment. A choice. How do you reach that second moment?
You practice meditation. Meditation is focused thinking. You choose one true idea and stay with it.
Like how the Creator knows the whole story of the universe from outside the story.
And slowly, something happens emotionally: awe.
Awe is not excitement.
Awe is when you feel the Creator is real, great, and close, even if you can’t see Him, it means feeling sadness, fear and wonder.
And that’s how relationship with the Infinite begins. Not by forcing your personality to disappear. But by creating space inside yourself, so you can choose.
And you can choose:
“I am still here with You.”
“I still want a relationship.”
“I will do the next right thing.”
