Ever felt unworthy, not freer, after being told about “divine grace”?

Ever notice how some versions of it sound more like emotional manipulation than love?

They say:

“You’re broken. You can’t repair yourself. Only I can save you.”

That’s not holiness, that’s control wrapped in kindness.

That’s how narcissistic control always works:

First, it makes you feel unworthy. Then it offers love as rescue. Finally, it keeps you dependent on approval. Now imagine that dynamic projected onto G-d.

If “grace” means you must feel shame to be loved, that’s not divine, that’s narcissistic domination.

Real grace doesn’t humiliate. It reminds you who you are, whole, worthy, already loved.

It doesn’t say, “You’re nothing without Me.”

It says with love, “You already carry My light within you.”

Because love from G-d isn’t a trap, it’s how your soul remembers its worth.
