Want to really feel connected spiritually?

“You might be grounded without knowing.”

Remember these two wings: Love and Awe.

Today’s Tanya teaches us your soul needs two wings to soar—love and awe. Without these feelings, your actions remain grounded and motionless.

When your heart experiences love, awe, and yearning for The Creator, your relationship truly comes alive.

Tehillim Insight:

King David said, “Fear and trembling penetrate me… if only I had wings like a dove, I would fly off and find rest.”

Why a dove? Because it rests even as it flies (Midrash).

This teaches us the secret:

Turn your fears into love and awe through honest conversation with The Creator.

Chumash Perspective:

Today’s Torah portion lists various sacrifices (burnt, meal, sin, guilt, inauguration, and peace offerings), each representing a different way The Creator wants to connect with us.

Seeing this variety deepens our love and awe by recognizing how much The Creator truly desires a meaningful relationship.

Rambam Reflection:

Today’s Rambam explores Shabbos laws, highlighting how passionately The Creator seeks uninterrupted, intimate connection with us, free from the distractions of daily “work.”

Embrace love and awe—they’re your wings.  Notice the many ways The Creator reaches out to you daily.

“Give yourself wings.  Connect, soar, and find rest in your relationship with The Creator.”
