And they think: “Wait… how can G-d, infinite and perfect, need me?”
But this isn’t about weakness. It’s about desire. G-d desires connection with you. Not sometimes. Not when you’re perfect. But for eternity.
He created the world for relationship. And a real relationship means both sides matter. So when you show up, in gratitude, in prayer, or even in struggle— you’re giving Him what He longs for:
eternal connection with you.

Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
