But before that, something else has to happen: awe.
Awe isn’t just “being impressed.” Awe is a blend of emotions that open your soul:
1. joy — because you feel connected,
2. sadness — because you also feel separate,
3. fear — because the relationship is real,
4. wonder — because you’re astonished that He is good.
Just like human connection begins with curiosity, connection with the Infinite begins with awe, that moment you notice His goodness and feel safe enough to speak honestly.
Awe happens through words, and awe opens the relationship.
