Man holding a sign about how an image shrinks your wonder

When you attach an image to the Creator,

you’re not getting “closer”… you’re actually shrinking what is Infinite. And when you shrink the Infinite, you feel less wonder.

Less curiosity.

Less mystery pulling you forward.

But wonder is an ingredient for awe. Awe doesn’t appear in a mind that already thinks it “knows.” Awe grows where curiosity is alive. So when your wonder becomes weaker, your awe becomes weaker too.

If you want deeper awe, don’t reduce the Infinite to something picture-able. Let the mystery stay bigger than your imagination. That’s when wonder rises. That’s when awe forms.

Living in awe in how you begin to connect with the Creator.

“An image shrinks your wonder, and weakened wonder weakens awe.”
