I definitely have.
For a long time, I felt like understanding God or spirituality was something other people did better.
Honestly, I just felt overwhelmed.
Like there was always a right way to say things or a right way to feel.
Then something shifted for me, and it changed everything:
It was compassion.
But probably not the way you usually think about it.
Compassion isn’t just about being nice or polite.
It’s actually the clearest, simplest way to understand and connect with the Creator.
Here’s how I see it:
When your best friend is in pain, you don’t stop and analyze.
You instantly feel their pain.
You just know.
That’s compassion.
It allows you to know yourself or another person more.
It’s direct, intuitive, and real.
Connecting with the Creator works exactly the same way.
Every single time you experience compassion, whether you’re giving it or receiving it, you’re actually feeling exactly what the Creator feels.
You’re directly connecting to the very heart of reality.
Here’s how you can start making this real:
First, see your own pain as something meaningful.
Instead of feeling stuck or alone, ask yourself:
“Could this pain help me understand someone else’s experience better?”
Second, start practicing gentle self-talk.
Tell yourself something simple like: “I don’t need perfect words or perfect answers. Compassion is enough.”
When you do this, spirituality stops feeling overwhelming.
You begin feeling closer not only to yourself but also to the Creator.
Plus, you’ll find yourself naturally creating healthier boundaries, because compassion makes clear what’s truly important.
So here’s the simple takeaway:
Compassion doesn’t just help you understand the Creator,it makes your connection with Him clear, simple, and deeply real.
"Compassion isn't about being nice, it's about seeing clearly."

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
