Ever wonder why it’s hard to change how you feel or act?

What Really Shapes Your Feelings and Actions?

Because for humans, everything starts in your mind. Your greatest power is your wisdom. Your wisdom shapes your emotions.

Your emotions drive your thoughts, words, and actions. So if your mind feels cloudy, your life feels messy. But trauma can distort your wisdom. It makes you think you need to fight, flee, freeze, or fawn (which is people-pleasing), even when those responses aren’t helpful.

How Is G-d Different From Us?

This idea opened my eyes:

G-d doesn’t have that limit. For Him, wisdom and action are exactly the same, completely equal.

Imagine that:

Your smallest action is as meaningful to G-d as your deepest thoughts.

How Can You Connect With Yourself and G-d?

Here’s a quick tip for connecting better with yourself and G-d:

Pause and notice your thoughts. Ask yourself, “Is this thought helping me feel closer to G-d and to the person I want to become?” Because the mind isn’t just your greatest gift, it’s your path to a deeper connection.

Your wisdom is powerful. Choose your thoughts carefully.

Questions people ask

Why is it hard to change how you feel or act?

For humans, everything starts in your mind. Your wisdom shapes your emotions, and your emotions drive your thoughts, words, and actions. When your mind feels cloudy, your life feels messy. Trauma can distort your wisdom, making you react with fight, flee, freeze, or fawn, even when those responses are not helpful.

What is the fawn response?

Fawn, which is people-pleasing, is one of four ways trauma can make you react: fight, flee, freeze, or fawn. Trauma can distort your wisdom, making you think you need to fawn even when it is not helpful. Your wisdom is what normally shapes your emotions, thoughts, and actions.

Why does my smallest action matter to G-d?

G-d does not have the limit humans have. For Him, wisdom and action are exactly the same, completely equal. That means your smallest action is just as meaningful to G-d as your deepest thoughts, so what you do matters as much as what you think or believe.

How can I check if my thoughts are helping me?

Pause and notice your thoughts. Ask yourself, 'Is this thought helping me feel closer to G-d and to the person I want to become?' Your mind is not just your greatest gift, it is also your path to a deeper connection, so choose your thoughts carefully.

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
