They live wisely when what they know becomes emotionally real enough to guide their choices.

Awe is one of the feelings that helps make that possible.

What Is Awe?

Awe is not just inspiration. It is the felt awareness that you are living before something far greater than yourself, and in relationship with the Creator it contains wonder, humility, and healthy fear.

Wonder comes from noticing wisdom and meaning far beyond what you fully understand.

Humility comes from realizing that you are limited, you do not see the whole story, and reality is not under your control.

Healthy fear comes from knowing that your choices are real and matter.

How Does Awe Help Us Choose Wisely?

When awe becomes felt, a person becomes more willing to slow down, question their first reaction, and choose responsibility over impulse.

Trust then makes that awe safer, and appreciation can deepen both awe and love.

Love can contain joy because some goodness and closeness are already revealed, and sadness because you want more of that goodness to be revealed.

That is part of why spiritual development matters.

Why Does Spiritual Development Matter?

The goal is not only to know what is true.

It is to help truth become felt deeply enough that it changes how you think, choose, relate, and live.
