Your soulmate is the person you choose to build unity with

Your soulmate is not someone you find, but someone you choose

A question I’m often asked is, “What is a soulmate?”

My answer is simple: whoever you marry is your soulmate.

Chabad Chassidus teaches that even something as small as the color of the clothing you wear is not random, it is part of Divine Providence.

How much more so the person you marry.

A soulmate is not necessarily one predestined person you must somehow find.

Your soulmate is the person with whom you choose to build a life and create unity.

Divine Providence brings the relationship into your story. Your free choice is what you build within it.

And if the marriage ends, your story is not ruined.

You learn, heal, and open yourself to finding, and building a relationship with, a new soulmate.

There is no “bad” story.

Every relationship belongs to your journey and can lead you toward deeper love, wisdom, and connection.
