Usually, you can’t.
Here’s the thing:
Respect comes first:
You start by seeing someone’s good qualities or strengths.
You feel respect and want to act right around them.
Then love grows:
Over time, that respect naturally turns into real care. But sometimes—super rarely—it goes differently:
You suddenly feel deep care, even without respect first. It’s like waking up one day and realizing someone’s amazing. But this is rare—like an “emergency miracle.”
Here’s the easy path:
Notice how incredible G-d’s power and creation is. Respect Him by doing simple good things (acts of kindness). Watch how that respect slowly becomes love.

“Respect first. Love follows.”
