Your nervous system is always attaching to something.
It has to. If it’s not attached to awareness of the infinite Creator, it will attach to whatever feels strongest:
fear
control
ego loops
distraction
love of money
“If everything that exists were dependent on something else for existence, nothing would ever exist.” — based on a teaching of the Rambam in Guide for the Perplexed
Love of money doesn’t just mean greed. It means your sense of safety, value, and identity starts depending on what you have.
Why does love of money create pressure?
That creates pressure. Because now your life feels like something you have to hold together. There is another attachment. Love of relationship. Not just with people. With the Creator.
What is love of relationship?
Love of relationship means something very specific:
Life is not about control.
Life is about responsibility.
You are not running everything.
But you are responsible for how you show up inside it.
Where does a relationship with the Creator begin?
A relationship with the Creator begins with awe. Awe is not just inspiration.
It’s a real feeling, a blend of:
1. sadness — you are distant
2. fear — you are not in control
3. wonder — you are inside something vast
When your awareness attaches to awe, it loosens its grip on everything else.
Less fear.
Less control.
Less obsession with yourself.
What kind of joy becomes possible after awe?
Then something new becomes possible.
Joy.
Not loud.
Not forced.
A steady sense that you are not carrying life alone. But this is where people get confused. Feeling awe is not enough. You can feel awe in the morning and still spend the rest of the day in fear, control, or chasing money.
Why is feeling awe not enough?
Because habits don’t change from feeling alone.
They change from inner strength and repeated choices.
Inner strength means:
You notice where your awareness went, you bring it back you act differently, even when it’s uncomfortable again and again
So the shift is not just:
love of money → love of relationship
It’s:
Training your awareness and building the habits that keep returning you there That’s where real joy comes from. Not from what you get. From what your awareness is attached to.

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
