Awe and unconditional love together for the bridge from suffering to healing

Why do Jews have such a deep relationship with G-d?

Sometimes your deepest pain isn’t just sadness.

It’s feeling like no one understands,
not even yourself.

But here’s something surprising:

Pain can teach you about the Creator more deeply than happiness ever could.

When you suffer deeply, you have two choices:

1. Become bitter and lose hope, fall into depression, or

2. Feel deep awe that transforms pain into meaning.

When you feel deep awe, even your worst experiences become doorways to knowing the Creator better.

You see, Jews didn’t get closer to the Creator by having easy lives.

They found the Creator by learning how to feel awe, even when life hurt most.

But awe alone isn’t enough.

Have you ever noticed that you can understand everyone’s struggles—
but still judge yourself for your own? (or the other way)

Healing from suffering means doing something harder:

learning to love yourself without conditions.

The deeper your understanding of unconditional love, the deeper you know the Creator.

Here’s how to start:

1. Think of a younger you who felt lonely or misunderstood.

2. Imagine giving that version of yourself a warm hug and saying, “I’m here for you now.”

Sounds simple, but it changes everything.

Because here’s the truth:

The more deeply you love yourself without conditions, the clearer you see the Creator.

Pain without love stays lonely.

Pain with awe and unconditional love becomes wisdom.

You don’t have to stay lost.

"Awe and unconditional love together form the bridge from suffering to healing."

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
