If you love your phone more than G-d, read this.

Two kinds of love:

→ Easy Love:

You love your phone, your games, your snacks—because they make you happy right now.

→ Real Love:

Loving G-d, the one who created the world and every single thing you enjoy.

Here’s the issue:

→ You’re loving the gifts more than the giver.

Here’s how you fix it:

1. Notice the source:

Next time you enjoy something, think, “Who created this amazing thing?”

2. Shift your love:

Remind yourself, “I only have this joy because G-d made it possible.”

(consider saying “thank you, I appreciate what you’ve given me”)

Try this right now:

Say, “Today I’ll do good stuff because I care about G-d.”

Even something simple like staying healthy or working honestly. If aren’t going to stay healthy or work honestly then you can think instead “G-d, life is so hard for me”. You still have a relationship.

Takeaway:

“Care about the creator, not just the creation.”

It’s simple.  Try it.  Watch your love grow.
