Your soul doesn't want applause, it wants you to notice it's already good.

Why does connecting feel so hard, even when you're surrounded by people?

Listen to this articleReady

Here's a surprising truth:

Loneliness isn't about being alone.

It's about not understanding what's happening inside you.

1. You know those moments you snap/get defensive (thinking "Why don't they respect me?")

2. Freeze (thinking "I can't handle this right now"),

3. Run away (thinking "This is too much, I need out"),

4. Or bend yourself backward (thinking "I'll do anything so they'll like me") just to make someone else happy?

That's your ego stepping in.

But not the way you think.

Your ego isn't just arrogance.

It's fear.

It's insecurity.

It's believing deep down you're not enough.

Think about Kayin’s story (Cain and Abel):

He offered something to The Creator, expecting praise.

But his ego blocked him from realizing everything he had was already from The Creator.

This happens to us too:

When our ego drives our reactions, like unhealthy fight, flight, freeze, or fawn (people pleasing).

We lose sight of our true value.

And here's where things get hopeful:

Real connection happens when you shift from ego-driven reactions to self-awareness and compassion.

Try these two powerful steps:

1. When you react, pause and ask:

"Am I feeling unsafe or unworthy right now?"

2. Remind yourself:

"Everything I have is already enough,I'm already enough."

Healing starts with noticing yourself kindly.

Because when you finally see yourself clearly, loneliness loses its power.

And that's when connection feels real again.

"Your soul doesn't want applause, it wants you to notice it's already good."

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
