When you accept humanness

Why Does the Ego Sometimes Think It’s G-d?

Sometimes, you feel so sure you’re right, you can’t back down.

You argue harder,
push stronger,
and feel anger flare up instantly.

Here’s the shocking reason why:

Your ego isn’t confident—it’s scared.

It’s secretly terrified of being rejected,
feeling small,
or losing control.

It uses these adaptive trauma patterns to stay safe:

1. Fight: Your ego says, “Dominate/fight others, or they’ll dominate you.”

2. Flight: It says, “Run away, before someone sees your weakness.”

3. Freeze: It warns, “Stay silent and unnoticed, that’s your safest bet.”

4. Fawn: It insists, “Please everyone, because your value depends on them.”

When your ego forgets you’re connected to something bigger—
it mistakenly believes all your strengths are self-created.

The real reason loneliness shows up?

You lose sight of your true source of greatness.

How do you heal this?

1. Next time you feel anger or arrogance rising, pause and ask yourself:

“What am I really protecting right now?”

2. Remind yourself:

Your worth doesn’t depend on controlling situations or people’s approval.

It’s rooted deeply in your connection, to others, yourself, and the Divine.

Here’s your key insight:

When you embrace your humanness,
your deepest connections grow naturally.

What hidden fear is your ego trying to protect?

"When you accept your humanness (imperfections), your deepest connections grow naturally."

The blog lists all the difference patterns to study, understanding patterns is how one can develop 'Daas' [felt knowing].
Update: As awe, trust, and love deepen, they can allow greater openness and intimacy with the Creator. That intimacy can include sadness when you notice how much more of His goodness can be revealed.
